Does Your Garden Need a Makeover?

1. If visitors came to my garden, I think they would describe it as:
   • "Pretty, but simple."
   • "A little wild. Full of passion, boldness and surprise."
   • "What garden? Oh, you mean those marigolds near the backyard?"

2. When was the last time you put some time aside for a creative project?
   • Though I don't have much time for creative projects, I do try to watch HGTV and read up on crafting and decorating ideas in magazines
   • I try to do something at least once a month -- whether it's a small painting project, writing in my journal or helping my kids with arts and crafts activities
   • I'm always creating, learning or doing something new -- redecorating a room, painting the walls a new color, recovering an old chair or taking a class
